AI Slide Deck runs two things on one domain: this marketing site, and the app at aislidedeck.com/app. This notice covers both.

This marketing site

Google Analytics measures which pages you visit and where you arrived from. Microsoft Clarity records the session: clicks, scrolling and mouse movement, played back later as a heatmap or a replay. On these marketing pages that recording is not masked.

If you fill in the waitlist form we store what you type: your email, first and last name, company, role, team size, the kind of deck you would make first, and anything you write in the optional message. We use it to invite you and for nothing else. There is no newsletter.

The app

You sign in with Google, with a Microsoft work account, or with a link we email you. We store your email address, your name, and whatever else the provider hands us. We then store the decks and slides you make, their saved versions, brand kits, images, share links and API keys. We also keep the records we need to run the service: a credit ledger, what each AI call cost, an audit log, and a log of emails we sent you. Analytics and session recording run in the app too, with every screen masked, so your slides and your AI conversations are never recorded.

If you unsubscribe from an email, that decision is stored against your address rather than your account. It outlives account deletion on purpose: deleting an account must never be a way to start receiving mail again.

What we keep from AI generations

This is the part people do not expect, so it gets its own section.

When you generate a deck, we sometimes store the input to the model. In production that means every generation that failed, plus about five percent of the ones that worked. Failures are kept because a failure you cannot reproduce is a failure you cannot fix.

What is stored is the prompt and the material that went with it, which includes the text of any document you uploaded. It is scoped to your workspace and is deleted when your account is.

We do not currently publish a retention period for these records, because we are not yet running the scheduled deletion that would make one true. When that job runs, this section will say how long.

Cookies

We set four cookies of our own on this domain. They hold a visitor id, when you first arrived, where you arrived from, and the first page you landed on, and they last a year. The app adds a session cookie to keep you signed in. Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity set their own cookies under their own policies, linked below.

Who else handles your data

Anthropic, OpenAI and Google supply the AI models. Which of them sees a given generation depends on the model chosen for it. Google Analytics measures audiences and Microsoft Clarity records sessions, on both the site and the app. If you sign in with Google or Microsoft, that provider handles the sign-in.

Payments

We charge nothing today and run no payment processor. We hold no card numbers and no billing addresses. This section will change before that does.

Your choices

You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account and everything in it. We handle those requests by hand. There is no export button and no delete button in the app, and we would rather say so than describe one that does not exist.

You can opt out of Google Analytics with Google's browser add-on, and read how Microsoft Clarity uses what it records in the Microsoft privacy statement. Blocking cookies in your browser stops both.

Changes

When this notice changes we update the date at the top. It describes what the product does today, not what it will do once billing and self-serve data tools exist.
